Broken Bones
Tuesday, May 15, 2007
Well I broke my arm. I broke the Distal Radius and the Ulna bones. The bone slid across my growth plate when it fractured so I might need surgery but we don't know yet.I bet you're wondering how it happened right? No? Oh, fine then. I'll tell you anyways just to pass the time... It was about a week ago today when my good friend. Ben Rifken, and I were taking some photos at a dried up runoff ditch. I had my new Nikon D40 with me and I wa
s hoping to get some nice shots. When we arrived at the ditch I spotted an old rusty spray-paint can. I started to photograph it but I decided it needed a more dramatic angle. So, I started climbing up the rock legde that led to the street. This was probably a stupid thing to do since the ledge was covered in gravel and such. After I ascended the ledge about 4 feet, my right foot slipped and I tumbled to the rocks and cement below. Luckily the camera is ok but I will be in a cast for six to eight weeks.
